This was a new trip for the Great Sun Nation, and definitely a memorable one!   Friday night yielded perfect weather and the best view of the stars for hundreds of miles.

On Saturday morning, everyone loaded onto monster truck buggies for a 2 hour nature cruise of the surrounding wildlife and farm.   Highlights included seeing alligators, turtles, panther scratches, horses, week-old baby calves, and a boardwalk over the cypress swamp.

Even though horseback riding was available, most people Saturday afternoon chose to take the opportunity to ride the zip lines, including Florida’s longest zipline and the only zipline rollercoaster in the US.

After eating our fill of dinner, the kids headed off to the Chesapeake area to watch Despicable Me 3 projected onto a movie screen.  After a great Saturday night, Sunday morning arrived too soon…
